Terms of Service

By creating an account and using Nineflat, you agree to these Terms of Service. Please read them carefully. These terms govern your access to and use of the Nineflat platform operated by Nineflat Technologies Inc.
1. Eligibility
You must be at least 18 years old and legally able to enter into a binding contract to use Nineflat. By using the platform, you represent that you meet these requirements.
2. Your Account
You are responsible for maintaining the confidentiality of your account credentials and for all activity that occurs under your account. Notify us immediately at support@nineflat.com if you suspect unauthorized access.
3. Subscription Plans & Fees
Nineflat offers free and paid subscription plans. Paid plans are billed monthly via Stripe. Platform fees are applied to online payments processed through Nineflat and vary by plan (Free: 4% + €1, Growing: 1.5%, Business: 0.75%). Fees are subject to change with 30 days’ notice. All prices shown include an early adopter discount valid during the current beta period.
4. Payments & Payouts
Payment processing is handled by Stripe. Nineflat is not a bank or financial institution. We do not hold funds; collected rent is passed through to your connected bank account subject to Stripe’s standard settlement timelines (typically 2 business days). Nineflat is not liable for delays caused by Stripe, your bank, or third-party payment networks.
5. Acceptable Use
You agree not to use Nineflat to:
- Facilitate fraudulent transactions or money laundering
- Violate any applicable law or regulation
- Infringe the intellectual property rights of others
- Attempt to gain unauthorized access to any part of the platform
- Transmit malware, spam, or any harmful code
We reserve the right to suspend or terminate accounts that violate these terms without prior notice.
6. Data & Privacy
Your use of Nineflat is also governed by our Privacy Policy, which is incorporated into these Terms by reference.
7. Communications & Notifications
By accepting a rental invitation on Nineflat, you confirm:
- You are the tenant for that rental property
- You accept our Terms of Service and Privacy Policy
- You consent to receive operational rental notifications
Operational notifications include:
- Rent payment reminders (email, SMS, Viber)
- Payment receipts and confirmations
- Tenancy and account updates
Optional Notifications: You may unsubscribe from optional notifications (like rent reminders) at any time by clicking the unsubscribe link in any email. Simply click the link and confirm your preference change.
SMS & Viber: You may opt out of SMS and Viber messages at any time by replying STOP to any message. Your opt-out will be recorded automatically and no further SMS/Viber messages will be sent.
Required Notifications: Some notifications are essential to service operation (e.g., critical account alerts, payment confirmations) and cannot be unsubscribed. You will always receive these.

8. Intellectual Property
Nineflat and its content, features, and functionality are owned by Nineflat Technologies Inc. and are protected by copyright and other intellectual property laws. You may not copy, modify, or distribute our platform without written permission.
9. Disclaimer of Warranties
Nineflat is provided “as is” without warranties of any kind, express or implied. We do not guarantee that the platform will be uninterrupted, error-free, or secure at all times. Use the platform at your own risk.
10. Limitation of Liability
To the maximum extent permitted by law, Nineflat Technologies Inc. shall not be liable for any indirect, incidental, special, or consequential damages arising from your use of the platform, including but not limited to lost revenue, lost data, or financial loss resulting from payment processing delays or failures.
11. Changes to Terms
We may update these Terms from time to time. We will notify you of material changes by email or by a prominent notice on the platform. Continued use of the platform after changes take effect constitutes your acceptance of the new Terms.
